Crescent County (yes, that's what I named it. :)) has a bts blog AND I got to safely transfer all my families without my computer crashing! Whoo!

March 26th, 2009- Farewell, and New Defaults!

I decided that it would be wise to start a bts blog like Apple Valley does. So the first topic of today is: me shutting down the Desolado Village site and the neighborhood all together.

But never fear! Although Desolado Village will be destroyed in an earthquake, I'm not giving up altogether. I'm going to migrate all my families to a new neighborhood.

Now, if you're wondering why I'm doing this, I have a simple explanation: I may or may not have accidentally destroyed some files in my neighborhood by using SimPE. Oops. *laughs sheepishly*

I've tried playing other neighborhoods, and it's no where near as laggy as Desolado Village is in terms of how long it takes for things to load. Even just loading the neighborhood is an eight-minute ordeal. Noo, thank you!

And if you're wondering how I destroyed the neighborhood you all may/may not know and love, well, heh heh, I was merging Desolado Village with my custom neighborhood Aridia so I can transfer my favorite sim families as immigrants to DV. See? I had no bad intentions...hee hee...sigh.

On the bright side...I get to start all over again! Yaay! *Sigh*
I hope to name the new town something like "Willow Creek" or "Crescent Valley".

Yep! I love them! They're maxis-ish, but not too much so.
