So the first topic of today is: me shutting down the <st1:place st="on"><st1:placename st="on">Desolado</st1:placename> <st1:placetype st="on">Village</st1:placetype></st1:place> site and the neighborhood all together. <br /> <br />But never fear! Although <st1:place st="on"><st1:placename st="on">Desolado</st1:placename> <st1:placetype st="on">Village</st1:placetype></st1:place> will be destroyed in an earthquake, I'm not giving up altogether. I'm going to migrate all my families to a new neighborhood. <br /> <br />Now, if you're wondering why I'm doing this, I have a simple explanation: <b>I may or may not have accidentally destroyed some files in my neighborhood by using SimPE.</b> Oops. *laughs sheepishly* <br /> <br />I've tried playing other neighborhoods, and it's no where near as laggy as Desolado Village is in terms of how long it takes for things to load. Even just loading the neighborhood is an eight-minute ordeal. Noo, thank you! <br /> <br />And if you're wondering how I destroyed the neighborhood you all may/may not know and love, well, heh heh, I was merging <st1:place st="on"><st1:placename st="on">Desolado</st1:placename> <st1:placetype st="on">Village</st1:placetype></st1:place> with my custom neighborhood Aridia so I can transfer my favorite sim families as immigrants to DV. See? I had no bad intentions...hee hee...sigh. <br /> <br />On the bright side...I get to start all over again!
